An Innovative Solution
Marine
Often times our clients have everything they need to succeed, they just require the resources and support to make it all fall into place. Whether its in dry dock or out to sea we can provide you with the expertise and knowledge to move forward with confidence in any marine project.
Recent projects include the preservation of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Seneca (WMEC-906) in the Brooklyn Navy Yard's historic but none the less efficient dry docks along with the prestigious United States Coast Guard Cutter Jousha James (WMSL-754) in the southern bell city of Charleston, South Carolina.
In the case of the U.S.C.G.C. Seneca, the entire hull was striped and restored back to its shimmer with asset protection being the number one priority. The salt water ballast tanks were in need restorative measures along with the entirety of the ship's ballast tanks. Proper and detailed inspection has assured that it will be smooth sailing until they they next make port for their next scheduled service maintenance call.
The U.S.C.G.C. Joshua James was of no little task as the entire ships' decking had to be striped away with UHP Water Jetting because of environmental regulation and its ability to save time. Striping the layers away revealed there was little to no profile to work with. Through communication and innovative ideas we pulled together the project finishing not only on time but delivered an asset protecting product and finish not only assuring the steel decking's preservation but securing the safety of the entire crew that often times are subjected to inhospitable weather conditions. Without the proper deck the crew would be over board and thus neglecting the most precious asset...life.
